To succeed in a competitive job market, you must be agile, adaptable, and stand out from the competition. Doane University’s College of Business creates a foundation for our students based on industry best practices, ethics, and an understanding of the liberal arts. Leadership development is a pillar of the College of Business -- enhancing leadership skills is at the core of our curriculum, at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Whether you live on our residential campus in Crete, attend night and weekend classes in Lincoln or Omaha, or complete your degree online, Doane offers flexibility to help make an already full schedule more manageable and attainable. Students in our business programs work with faculty and advisors to customize an educational experience that fits their needs. As we get to know you, we will be able to recommend unique options and opportunities that will distinguish yourself from the rest.
The College of Business utilizes active learning and hands-on experience; we want our students not just to know their coursework, but to put that knowledge into action. With opportunities like writing business plans for local businesses, submitting proposals for campus funding projects, and working with local organizations on service-learning projects that address needs within the community, our students are knowledgeable and prepared for the workforce.
