How does it all work? How can we make it better?
Some people are naturally drawn to questions about the material world around us, and within us. Some of these people are naturally drawn to Doane’s Division of Science, Mathematics, and Information Science & Technology. In this division’s programs, students learn how to explore, test, and observe the fundamental tenets of reality. Through the sciences, students gain a deeper understanding of the material forces of the world around them. Doane provides its science students with a practical grounding in their disciplines, as well as the professional and personal skills needed to accelerate their future careers in research, medicine, field work, education, manufacture, or whatever else they pursue.
- Engage in real research from your very first year.
- Work alongside professionals, not under them.
- Learn to communicate what you discover to put it to use in the world.
- Work with peers and instructors across disciplines to explore new connections.
Doane’s Division of Science, Mathematics, and Information Science & Technology has helped educate generations of accomplished makers and researchers. Check out the links below to learn more about our legacy.
