Call for Third-Party Comments Re: CAEP Accreditation Visit

Doane University's Education Preparation Programs (EPP) are undergoing a national accreditation review by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). As part of this process, an accreditation team will conduct a site visit on 4/12/2026.

We invite interested third parties to submit written feedback directly to CAEP regarding the quality of our professional education programs.

Who is invited to comment? CAEP is seeking comments from:

  • Graduates
  • Current or Former Faculty
  • Employers of Graduates
  • P-12 Partners
  • Other Stakeholders

What to include in your comments: Your feedback should specify your relationship to Doane University, Nebraska and focus on the core areas of CAEP accreditation, such as:

  • Candidate subject matter knowledge and teaching effectiveness (resulting in student learning).
  • Quality and effectiveness of clinical practice and school partnerships.
  • Recruitment, monitoring, and support of candidates.
  • Use of data and feedback for continuous program improvement.
  • Ongoing involvement in planning and evaluation.
  • Faculty and programs reflect new knowledge, practice, and technologies.
  • Engagement in continuous assessment and development.
