Measure 2: Satisfaction of employers and stakeholder involvement
STAKEHOLDER INVOLVEMENT
Doane University Advanced Programs Engage P-12 Partner groups in a variety of collaborative partnerships. P-12 partners develop agreements with Doane Advanced Educator Preparation Programs to support clinical experiences for candidates in our Educational Leadership (principal), School Counseling, and Education Specialist (superintendent) licensure programs.
P-12 partners also engage in advisory meetings with advanced program directors and faculty for all programs. During the 2024-25 academic year the primary focus of advisory meetings for advanced programs was to engage P-12 partners in program reflection and data review processes for each of our CAEP accredited advanced level programs.
SATISFACTION OF EMPLOYERS
Doane University Advanced Programs have developed an assessment plan to gather satisfaction data from employers at two post-completion milestones: one year after completion and three years after completion. These milestones were determined by our program directors and faculty, in consultation with the P-12 partners and advisory committees for each of the advanced programs. The employer satisfaction survey was sent in Spring of 2025 to employers of Doane advanced program completers from academic year 2021-22 (three years after completion) and 2023-24 (one year after completion) and results are displayed below:
* Surveys for 1st Year (2023-2024) Education Specialist program were sent to employers of 20 completers and returned too few responses to display.
* Surveys for 3rd Year (2021-2022) Education Specialist program were sent to employers of 12 completers and returned too few responses to display.
