The 17th annual Oregon Trail Band sponsored by Doane University will be held Monday, January 5, 2026, at Bridgeport High School. There will be one band which will be conducted by Dr. Andrew D. Feyes, Director of Instrumental Music at Doane University. Twenty schools participated last year, and we hope you will consider joining us this year.
Band Directors need only complete the Nomination and Recommendation form below, once per student.
It is very important that you rank your students from your best students (1) to your least best (2, 3, 4, etc.). We will do our best to take the first and second ranked students, but do ask that your top 2 students not be on the same instrument (ex: Rank 1 and 2 both play alto sax).

Monday, December 8th - Band selected, Music available online
Schedule for Monday, January 5th, 2026:

9:15 a.m. - Registration - Gather in Auditorium
9:30 a.m. - Welcome Meeting / Set in seats on Stage
9:45 - 10:45 a.m. - Full Ensemble Rehearsal
10:50 - 11:40 a.m. - Sectionals: Brass - TBA Room, Woodwinds - TBA Room, Percussion - Stage.
11:45 - 12:30 p.m. - Lunch
12:30 - 4:00 p.m. - Full Ensemble Rehearsal resumes, breaks as needed
4:00 p.m. Break (change clothes in designated rooms)
5:00 p.m. Final concert
