This year Doane University will celebrate 150 years of academic and institutional success by leading, inspiring, and making an impact on our campus, communities and the world. Resources are always needed to carry out these great ideas and help our students accomplish great successes. This means bringing in students with potential to succeed and supporting them with scholarships, quality academic programs, student-centered opportunities, and state of the art technology and facilities. These things help attract students to Doane…and help them succeed while here. The Doane Fund is important in helping meet students’ needs today and to help us continue the Doane impact into future years.
The Doane Fund encompasses gifts that can be made and spent within one fiscal year. Every year, loyal Doane Fund donors provide vital support to enhancing the Doane University experience for our students.
You Can Help Continue the Experience
Our Alumni are living their own Doane Experiences out in the world now. Thanks to them and other friends of Doane, we can continue helping new students Earn Their Shields and start living Doane Experiences of their own.
Ensure that Doane is accessible to all so that the University can continue to educate students based on their strengths and potential, rather than ability to pay.
Support faculty & staff who are leaders in their field, professional development, and sabbaticals that allow Doane faculty further develop their specialties.
Gifts to athletics help give the Tigers a competitive edge as they provide for scholarships, team travel support, updated gear & equipment, staff professional development and training.
Augment & enhance scholarships and resources for programs in vocal and instrumental music, theatre, forensics, art & more with gifts to the Fine Arts.
Help to create the Doane experience for each student, based upon the University’s rich history. Gifts to Campus Life and support student organizations, community service efforts, counseling services, and more!
Support every aspect of the University and advance the mission and vision of Doane.
