The Capital Chapter is a regional alumni chapter of Doane University in Lincoln, NE. Chapters were formed to fulfill the dual role of serving alumni and the college.
Activities of the Capital Chapter include:
- Lincoln area annual alumni event
- Summer family event
- Friday Afternoon Clubs (FAC) (or Thursday Afternoon Clubs on occasion!)
- Annual Homecoming Golf Tournament
- Lincoln Campus Holiday Open House
- and more!
The chapter raises funds for scholarships awarded to Nebraska high school graduates currently enrolled in the School of Arts and Sciences. They also provide equipment and supplies for the School of Graduate and Professional Studies in Lincoln.
