Wiley Grants

Funding for grants is annually available to students and faculty to support projects that apply and/or promote computing.  The project can be in any discipline.  Examples of project items funded with a Wiley Micro Grant, typically $500 or less, include software, hardware, training, and travel.

Below you can browse past awards and access a proposal form.  Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.

This grant honors John O. Wiley, who graduated from Doane in 1957.  He dropped out of classes at Doane but then returned with the determination that he would obtain a degree from his beloved institution. John worked at Raytheon & Honeywell as a pioneer in the computer software industry.
