Ineligible to Register Error

Thank you for wanting to enroll at Doane. If you've received an error message stating "You are not eligible for registration." you no longer have an active program/major, which means you've graduated, completed, or have been withdrawn from the program you originally declared. See below for assistance to reactivate your program or move forward with returning to Doane:

Graduate Education Programs (Master of Education, Master of Arts in Counseling, Education Specialist, Doctoral):

  • If you have graduated from one of Doane's Graduate Education programs within the past 5 years and wish to return as a non-degree seeking student, please contact [email protected] to reactivate your account. 
  • If you've been absent from Doane for more than 2 years and your program has been moved to inactive, please contact the Graduate Education office to have your program re-activated. 
  • If you have graduated from Doane and wish to pursue a new degree program, please contact [email protected] to answer any questions you may have and complete the application process for your new program. 

Non-Residential Programs - Lincoln campus and Online (undergraduate, Masters in Leadership, MBA):

  • If you've been absent from Doane for more than 2 years, you've been withdrawn from your program. Please contact the Associate Registrar or your academic advisor to have your program re-activated.
  • If you want to pursue a different degree program, such as Master of Arts in Leadership or Master of Business Administration, please go back through the admissions process or contact our Recruitment Team at [email protected].

Residential Programs - Crete campus:

  • If you've been absent from Doane for more than 1 year, you've been withdrawn. Please contact Enrollment at [email protected] for a re-admission application.

Online OLA Coursework: 

  • If you see this error message, please first 'log out' of your Self-Service portal and try your registration again through the direct registration link.
