TERMINOLOGY
A to B – Associate degree to Bachelor degree transfer guide. Lists all the courses required for the Associates degree and the equivalent courses at Doane applicable to a Bachelor’s degree. Once at Doane, students will be able to complete their Bachelors degree with two years of full-time coursework.
Guided Pathway – Listing of courses that transfer into a specific Doane program (e.g. Education, Engineering). The community college doesn’t offer enough courses that will successfully transfer in towards a specific Doane major. These pathways outline equivalent courses to take prior to transferring to Doane, but not a full Associate degree.
General Education – Doane requires 21 hours of general education courses in the Foundational Areas of Knowledge (FAK) of the Doane Core. These fliers outline the community college courses that will satisfy the seven FAK areas.
