Join us as the Doane Advancement and Alumni Offices present "Alumni Connections," a series of short half-hour presentations/discussions from three distinguished alumni. Learn how their time at Doane helped prepare them for their professional careers and general life after Doane. Sessions will take place at 11 a.m., 11:45 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. (15-minute intermissions between each speaker/guest.)

- Mary Rainforth Theiler ’90
Physical Therapist, Doctors of Physical Therapy
Mary was a business owner and physical therapist. After selling her company (Community Rehab), she worked as a substitute teacher before returning to physical therapy with Doctors of Physical Therapy in Fremont.
At Doane, she was involved with Phi Sigma Tau, Tiger Women's Basketball, and Tiger Softball.
She is currently a member of the Doane University Alumni Council.
- Lucas Fahrer ’11
Senior Writer/Producer, Swanson Russell
Lucas is a creative wordsmith, content marketer, team player, and storyteller.
At Doane, he was involved in The Owl, Tiger Yearbook, DCTV, KDNE, Tiger Baseball, Directions Program, Hansen Hall Council, Newman Club, Intramurals, and Relay For Life.
He currently serves on the leadership team of the Doane University Alumni Council.
- Mady Vogel ’20
Charge Nurse, Nebraska Methodist Hospital
Mady was just recently honored by the Nebraska Nurses Association 40 under 40.
At Doane, she was involved in Gamma Phi Iota, Student Congress, Tiger Women's Basketball, and Doane Ambassadors. She served as the president of StuCo during her junior and senior years.
She is currently president of the Gamma Phi Iota Alumni Association.
