Doane Players promotes the Art of Theatre on the Crete Campus, and within the Crete community. This social-and-service organization advocates theatre as a personal and community experience. Players promotes the highest of theatre standards; striving for diversity and inclusion, and encouraging creative expression. Doane players is one of the original organizations of the University and was founded by Thomas Doane.
