Dear Faculty and Staff,
We have updated our COVID-19 quarantine guidelines based on new recommendations from the CDC. Please see below:
Quarantined Employees/Household Members: No change
- Employees must report to Human Resources if they have been exposed to COVID. Please report to HR by emailing [email protected] or by phone 402-826-6795 for tracking purposes. Please do not report in-person.
- Employees who are exposed to someone from their household with COVID-19 should self-quarantine for a period of 14 days and then may return to work if the employee is not displaying symptoms. (If employees are displaying symptoms they should stay home and contact HR for further guidance.)
- Employees who are able to work remotely (from home) should do so.
- If employees are unable to work remotely, due to the nature of their job, then they will use paid sick leave. If an employee does not have enough sick leave to cover their absence they should contact HR at [email protected] so additional paid leave can be coordinated.
- Staff will not be required to use vacation leave.
- Faculty should work with their respective Dean on options for their course(s) if they have to self-quarantine.
