Professional Bio: 
Myron is a counselor providing therapy for undergraduate and graduate students. Myron is also the Director of Golf overseeing all aspects of golf at Doane including being the Men’s Golf Coach. He started his professional career at Doane in August 1999 serving for three years as a Resident Director in Frees Hall, campus counselor and men’s/women’s golf coach. Myron transitioned to private practice for several years joining a group of psychologists in Lincoln working with various populations/issues and eventually having his own practice. Myron came back to Doane in 2003 on a part-time basis as the Counseling Director while also continuing private practice work. After several years his role at Doane evolved into full-time status. Myron added Men’s Golf coaching duties in 2008. He was named the Director of Golf in the fall of 2023. During his tenure as the Director of Counseling, the Counseling Center grew from one to three professional counselors and moved to their location in Padour Walker.

BA in Psychology- Nebraska Wesleyan University (1992)

Personal Background:

Myron grew up in Nebraska as the youngest of seven children. Both of his parents were teachers. Myron’s wife, Holly, is a Doane College graduate and current judge in Lancaster County. His daughter, Bailey, lives in Lincoln and she is an undergraduate student at the non-residential campus while his son, Jake, is a junior on the Crete campus. Myron’s family are proud owners of a dog (Mitch) and two cats (Izzy, Newk). Myron enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, athletic events, Lied Center shows and playing golf.
