Professional Bio:
Gwendolyn Lopez has a BA in Art from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a MA in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of Denver. She is currently completing her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Doane University and is set to graduate December 2025. Gwendolyn has over a decade of experience in art, art administration and art education including roles at the Denver Art Museum, Cliff ord Still Museum, Arvada Center for the Arts and Lux Center developing, implementing and running programming for individuals of all ages and abilities. In the past, she has volunteered with Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation to support individuals with disabilities in creating resumes and practicing interview skills. Gwendolyn has also served as a committee member on the Nebraska Arts Council Accessibility Advisory Committee due to her expertise in both the arts and accessibility.

Personal Background:
Gwendolyn Lopez grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and has lived in New York, Florida and Colorado throughout her life. While she misses hiking in the mountains, she’s happy to be living in Nebraska with her husband, their two cats and her extended family. Outside of work, Gwendolyn enjoys spending time with her friends, hosting game nights, playing video games, sewing clothes and listening to audio books.
