Personal Background: Blake Tobey, a product of small-town Maxwell, Nebraska, once graced Doane's stages as a performing arts enthusiast before spending a dozen years warping the minds of high school thespians. Tobey lives in Milford where he and his wife, Ashley, orchestrate the beautiful chaos that is raising four children—Oliver, Anderson, and identical twins Stella and Noelle. His off-campus repertoire includes creating theatre, gardening, tickling the ivories, communing with nature, and engaging in marathon snuggle sessions with the family dog, Georgie. Tobey occasionally attempts running–a desperate bid for a moment of silence–only to return for the next adventure, proving that despite his performance background, his most captivating role remains that of the perpetually outnumbered parent.
