Federal Loans
Federal loans offer fixed interest rates, income-based repayment plans, deferment, and more. Private Loans
Private education loans are non-Federal loans borrowed from a bank or lending institution. Loan terms, rates, and fees vary upon the lender. Interest rates and fees are based on the credit score of the borrower and/or co-signer.
