An introductory course to the use of statistics and study designs in biology. Upon successful completion of this biostatistics course, students will be able to design experimental, quasi-experimental, and observational studies that will meet regulatory guidelines; and collect, analyze, and interpret data using appropriate statistical tools.
Note: For successful completion of this biostatistics class, it is recommended that students are familiar with Biology I and Biology II or their equivalents.
